" Best Friends Animal Society is a nonprofit organization founded on the principle that kindness to animals makes a better world for all of us and dedicated to creating a society where there are No More Homeless Pets.
Located in the middle of the beautiful Golden Circle area of Southwestern Utah, Best Friends operates the largest no-kill sanctuary in the country for abandoned, abused and neglected companion animals. There are never fewer than 1,500 animals at the sanctuary. These once sad little faces come from rescue groups and shelters all over the country. Once they are here, they receive the care and attention they deserve and to heal emotionally and physically. Once they've received a little care, most of these special animals will go to new homes with loving families. For those who remain here, the Sanctuary will be a true home and haven for the rest of their lives.
