Please Sign The Petitions

"Ignoring tens of thousands of citizens like you, the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service has just made it much easier to kill wolves in the Greater Yellowstone and Northern Rockies region -- wolves that still remain protected under the Endangered Species Act.

Take action now. Tell Interior Secretary Dirk Kempthorne that this rule change is unacceptable.

Wildlife officials will soon be able to shoot, trap and kill endangered wolves. Even those that wander from the safety of Yellowstone National Park and other protected areas could be killed.

This rule change allows officials to start killing wolves as soon as March. Please speak out today!"

"Every year, an estimated four to six million dogs and cats are euthanized in animal care and control facilities in the United States. This problem is pervasive, and it remains a source of shame for our country.

The American Humane Association's Getting to Zero Initiative is a national undertaking based on the profound belief that, within our lifetime, American society can reduce to zero the number of healthy or treatable dogs, cats and other companion animals that are euthanized in animal care and control facilities. It is vitally important for everyone who loves wolves & other animals to take action. The rule change is unacceptable. Please sign the petition. Hard to believe that 6 million lovable dogs & cats are killed each year due to being homeless - no fault of their own. Thank you Jane, for shedding the light on these two situations.
