Hilton Hotels and Pet Shelters

"To build on its recently announced Hilton Pet Friendly program Hilton Hotels has partnered with Pet Shelters Across America (PSAA), the nation’s leading animal sheltering organization dedicated to providing homes for animals in need. As the experts in providing warm hospitality to animals of all shapes and sizes, PSAA assisted Hilton in developing Pet Friendly, including providing tips for traveling with pets and information about vaccinations. “Pet Shelters Across America is the largest pet adoption and sheltering community in the United States, serving 130 million people coast to coast,” said Kathryn Wright Warnick, president – PSAA. “With Hilton’s support our shelters will be able to better care for millions of lost, abandoned and surrendered animals and will have additional resources at our disposal to educate and encourage children and adults on the humane treatment of animals and how to become responsible pet owners.”

Hilton will donate $500,000 over three years to support PSAA’s more than 70 member shelter locations across the U.S. In addition, various Hiltons around the country will donate sheets and towels to PSAA members addressing one of the most common needs of pet shelters."
